Russian “zeffir” aka marshmallow

Airy, tender and 100% natural ... Try making this Russian “Zeffir” aka marshmallow - forget about the store bought option forever!  I hope that thanks to my marshmallow recipe, you will be able to cook a real, useful and magically delicious dessert .

Medovik, a Russian honey cake.

Russian layer cake so popular in countries of the former Soviet Union. Honey-cake itself has a long history.  Prehistoric people came up with the idea of mixing flour and honey together to bake a sweet cake.  Are you ready to try this delicious cake?

These totally vegan desserts are total crowd-pleasers --- and if you're a chocoholic, you'll definitely go home satisfied (and with tons of extra treats). Enjoy making and then devouring: chocolate cupcakes with fudge ganache; raspberry brownies; chocolate ganache truffles; and mango and coconut chocolate bark.

You'll learn plenty of flavor options and preparation techniques within each of the recipes.

Let Avalee Chocolate Baking School instructor Anastasiia Gordievsky teach you through the delicate art of creating éclairs worthy of a Parisian pâtisserie. Just right for the Love Month of February!

We'll create the light pâte à choux dough, then move on to all the baking, filling and frosting. Our fillings and flavors will include: vanilla bean; praline; chocolate; Nutella; coffee; and cherry.

Learn how to make piroshki with Chef Anastasia and enjoy them with traditional Russian comfort dishes.

Join Chef Anastasia in making traditional Russian piroshki and pirogi. You'll learn how to prepare and shape the dough and stuff the buns with different fillings. Enjoy preparing a cozy Russian soup and learn the history of these comfort dishes.

About Instructors: 

 

 

She is a skilled chef, baker, food blogger and chocolatier who founded her own chocolate and pastry company that specializes in crafting homemade creations for events, hosting workshops, and teaching classes .  She grew up in Ukraine , learning about entertaining at a young age. Inspired by the amazing International cuisine around her as well as her grandmother's Russian food, she soon began cooking, baking, and planning menus.

Food is an art and being able to bring it to life for others to experience is why Chef Anastasiia loves cooking so much.

FAQ: 

Classes average 2 1/2 hours in length – but some will go longer and some will end earlier.
What are you providing during the class? 
During daytime classes snacks and treats will be served. 
What is included in the cost of the class? 
Needful equipment for the class, ingredients and you will take with you the treats that has been made during the class. You don’t need to bring anything with you . 
Classes are non-refundable due to limited seating. However, if you are unable to make the class, you are welcome to give your seats to someone else for that particular event (please just call us and give us a heads up). Please notify us at least 6 hours ahead of time if you are unable to attend.
All classes start on time. To ensure that all our guests get the maximum experience out of our classes, we kindly request that you make every effort to arrive 15 minutes prior to the class start time. Our space is small and late arrivals can be disruptive to other guests. If you know that you are going to be late, please just call ahead to let us know. 
Do you provide the Private Classes? 
Yes!  For birthdays, anniversary parties, bridal showers, corporate gatherings or just-for-the-heck-of-it.
